Cats can make wonderful pets, but they are often inappropriately categorized as low-maintenance pets. Adopting a cat or kitten into your family is a big commitment and should not be taken lightly. Cats have very unique personalities ranging from very aloof and rarely seen around the house, to very needy and in constant need of attention.
Important things to consider when adopting a cat or kitten are how much time you have available to spend with them, and how will a cat fit in with the other members of your family (including other pets).

As with dogs, it is important to develop a relationship between you, your cat, and your veterinarian. Proper medical attention for your cat includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, dental care, and annual check-ups with your veterinarian. A good diet is an important foundation for the proper health of your cat. There are many premium cat foods available please ask your veterinarians which diet is best for your cat.

Hard to tell with cats, but she's happy.
Good, early care can help your little guys grow up strong and healthy.
