Our hospital facility and equipment allow us to
offer your pet quality veterinary care. The set up of our facility
is such that our exam rooms, pharmacy, and laboratory are on the
main level. Also included on the main level are offices, a retail
area, and a conference room. Our lower level is where most of our
time is spent treating and caring for our patients. It includes our
treatment facilities, surgery suite, radiology room, and intensive
care unit. Both our boarding and hospitalized patients are also kept
on our lower level.
Surgery: Our surgery suite has a wide range of state-of-the-art-equipment
facilitating our doctors in all aspects of surgery. Our doctors perform
surgeries ranging from spays and neuters, to abdominal surgeries
and orthopedic surgery. We also offer the option of the use of laser
for most surgical procedures. The laser reduces swelling, post-operative
pain, and therefore facilitates a quicker recovery.
Dentistry: We offer a complete range of dental services here at
Columbine Animal Hospital. Our dental equipment, including our dental
x-ray machine, is top of the line, and they are available for treatment
and prophylactic care of your pet’s teeth. >>read

ICU: The intensive care unit allows us to give special needs patients
the care that they need. We have a hyperbaric oxygen chamber and
a climate-controlled area for patients’ special needs as well
as for patients recovering from surgery.
Laboratory: Our complete laboratory facility allows us to perform
important tests which aid us in the diagnostic process. We are able
to run complete blood profiles both in house and through an outside
laboratory. Having access to top of the line tests on-site helps
to expedite a diagnosis and treatment of your pet’s conditions.
Pharmacy: A complete onsite pharmacy allows us to provide your pets
with the important medications that they need. This allows us to
begin effective treatments efficiently, allowing the road to recovery
to begin as soon as possible.
Radiology: Radiographs (x-rays) aid in our diagnostic process. They
can give our doctors information regarding bones and soft tissues
alike. Our new dental x-ray machine also allows us to make radiographs
of your pet’s teeth and jaw to further treat and document dental
disease.
